Funeral Services

Funeral Services are as individual as you are and can be personalized to your unique tastes.

• Traditional Service:  A traditional funeral service includes a viewing or visitation, a formal funeral service (at the funeral home, church or location of your choice) and the necessary equipment, such as a hearse to transport the deceased to the funeral site. Floral tributes are often displayed and you are encouraged to bring in photographs and other memorabilia to further personalize the service.

• Graveside Service: A graveside service is held at the burial site. This service may be limited to the immediate family or open to all. After the service, there are options for a memorial service at the funeral home chapel, church or worship of choice.

• Memorial Service: A memorial service is conducted without the body present and can vary in ceremony and procedures. It can be held at the funeral home or at a location of your choice. In order to create a memorial service that is as unique as your loved one, we encourage you to help personalize the service with memorabilia, photographs and other personal items.

• Immediate Burials:  With an immediate burial the body is taken directly to the cemetery as soon as the funeral home can secure the death certificate and burial permit.  At the cemetery the casket can be buried in a grave or entombed in a mausoleum crypt.

• Anatomical Donation Services: Anatomical donation is the gift of organs and tissues for medical research and education.  Anatomical donation is almost always an option, even when transplantation is not.

• Out-of-Town Arrangement Services: If you are planning a funeral from out of the area we can assist you in making the arrangements even if it’s not possible to meet face-to-face. We can transfer the remains to another state or from another state to a Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home.

• Aftercare Services: We believe that our service to the family does not end with the funeral.  We offer a variety of support materials (see Grief Support Library below) as well as information for on-going support groups.
