Grave Side Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis for Thora F. Dean, age 87, who died Thursday at Shepherd of Grace Senior Community in Becker. Arrangements were made by Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker.

Thora was born Dec. 24, 1922 in Waskish, MN to Helmer & Frances (Dakken) Bothner. She married Warren H. Dean in Minneapolis. Thora lived in Bloomington most of her life. She loved to entertain, and enjoyed car trips, gardening, reading, drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Tom Punton of Clear Lake; and grandchildren, Mike (Dee) Punton of Clear Lake and Jason (Tina) Punton of St. Michael; and three great grandchildren.

Thora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren in 1992; and daughter, Carole Punton.
