William Milo Lyman, 70, Princeton, MN, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Elim Care and Rehab Center, Princeton, MN.

Bill was born to the late William T. and Betty (Cheeney) Lyman in Aitkin, MN. He spent many years working in the taconite mines on the Iron Range and then worked at Plastic Products in Princeton for about 12 years. He married Barb Hill and of that union they had four children. Bill and Barb later divorced. In 1998, Bill developed a special relationship with Shirley Jones and they have been together ever since.

Bill enjoyed watching wild life; gardening Hostas; watching sports, an avid fan of the Vikings and Twins; and landscape drawings.

Bill is survived by his children: William Lyman of Florida; Angela Nestegard of Colorado; Mark Lyman of Georgia; two grandchildren; brother: Wayne Lyman of Princeton, MN; sister: Ann Cullen of Otsego, MN; and special friend, Shirley Jones of Princeton, MN and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter: Kelley Lyman.
